Tigers win fourth straight with 98-39 victory over Indiana Northwest

Greencastle, Ind. - Visiting Indiana University Northwest scored the game's first two points, but it was all DePauw from that point forward as the Tigers rolled to a 98-39 victory. The win was the fourth straight for the 5-2 Tigers, while the RedHawks dropped to 1-17.
Reid Sakel and Todd Capes posted DePauw career highs with 16 and 13 points, respectively, with Alex Stewart chipping in 12 and Matt McDonald posting a career-best 10. Joey Hanger had four assists and four steals in the win. Bill Taylor paced the RedHawks with 18 and Jeff Renn added 13.
The Tigers shot over 60 percent for the second straight game as they connected on 60.6 percent and they held the RedHawks to just 33.3 percent. DePauw outrebounded Indiana Northwest 39-21 with Dan Gifford hauling down seven for the Tigers. Sean Jopling grabbed six for the RedHawks.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, December 28, when they take on Wisconsin-Platteville at the Clarke (Iowa) Holiday Tournament.
