Tigers place third at Washington Invitational

DePauw totaled 618 points and finished third at the Washington (Mo.) University Invitational. Missouri-Rolla won the two-day meet with 880 points and Washington was second with 709.5.


Evan Kennel paced the Tigers with three top-four finishes. He won the 200 backstroke in 1:56.58, placed second in the 100 back in 55.30 seconds and was fourth in the 200 individual medley in 2:01.15.


Wilson Vilafana placed fourth on both boards in diving with 320.85 points on the three-meter and 350.90 in the one-meter.


DePauw returns to action on Saturday, January 31, when it hosts Rose-Hulman at 1 p.m. in the final dual meet of the season.
