"Due to the additional seats Wabash College added this year, a record crowd is expected. DePauw University sold its allotment, 3,500 tickets, in 72 hours. Wabash College has 500 tickets left of its 6,500.
Brittany Edwards writes, "Most Crawfordsville hotels will be booked for the weekend, and restaurants will be packed with football fans. 'We are completely booked this weekend,' said Arlene Edwards, co-owner of the General Lew Wallace Inn, 309 W. Pike St. 'The hotel is usually full during Wabash's homecoming game and parents' weekend, but for the Monon Bell game it's a bigger
crowd.'"
