Chicago Bears Assistant Coach Rob Boras '92 Prepares for Sunday's Battle with the Colts

rob boras.jpgNovember 18, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - The game notes for this Sunday's National Football League contest between the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears note that Bears tight ends coach "Rob Boras began coaching career with alma mater DePauw." Boras, a 1992 graduate of DePauw University, joined the Bears' staff in February.

After graduation, Boras seved as DePauw's offensive line coach for two years. He spent one season (1998) as head coach of Division III Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, and served four seasons as an assistant at the University of Texas where he worked with the offensive line, tight ends and special teams.
