DePauw travels to Wabash for annual Monon Bell game

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - DePauw concludes the 2004 football season this Saturday at Wabash College in the 111th meeting between the two schools and the 73rd for possession of the Monon Bell. Kickoff at Byron P. Hollett Little Giant Stadium in Crawfordsville is set for 1:05 p.m.

 

DePauw, 7-2, enters the game on a five-game win streak after last Saturday's 30-3 win over Rose-Hulman. Wabash comes into the contest with a 6-3 mark after last Saturday's 38-7 victory at Denison.

 

Wabash holds a 51-50-9 lead in the series after last year's 37-20 victory in Greencastle. The Little Giants have won the last three games in the series.

 

Saturday's game may be heard live on WGRE (91.5 FM) and online at www.wgre.org beginning at 11 a.m. with the award-winning pregame show. Brian Gustin, Teddy Tutson and Matt Barwise call the action from the press box with Dan Lucero on the sidelines.

 

The game will be telecast locally by WHMB-TV (Channel 40 in Indianapolis) and, nationally, on DirecTV Channel 321.
