Tucker Waugh '93 Named Wide Receivers Coach at Stanford University

January 27, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Tucker Waugh, a 1993 graduate of DePauw University, has been named wide receivers coach at Stanford University. Waugh spent the past five seasons as an assistant coach at Army. "Tucker brings with him tremendous knowledge and experience and I'm excited to have him join our staff," says Stanford head coach Walt Harris. "He is an outstanding receivers coach who has a proven record of success at the collegiate level."
A story at College Sports.com states, "Waugh coached at Illinois State for five years (1995-99) and Army for the past five seasons (2000-04). A 1993 graduate of DePauw University, where he played quarterback, Waugh coached outside linebackers at ISU in '95 and running backs in '96 before coaching wide receivers his final three years. He then went to West Point in 2000 and coached Army's wide receivers. Waugh began his coaching career with one-year stints at Otterbein College in 1993 and DePauw in '94 prior to moving on to Illinois State. He also completed a coaching fellowship with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League."
