Video Games of Activision Publishing & President Kathy Patterson Vrabeck '85 Take Two Top Awards

February 6, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "With all of the amazing titles that were released in 2004, it is both an honor and a compliment to be recognized by the Academy as having some of the best games of the year," said Kathy (Patterson) Vrabeck, president of Activision Publishing, Inc. and 1985 graduate of DePauw University, after two of her company's games were honored at the 8th Annual Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' D.I.C.E. Awards Show in Las Vegas. Tony Hawk's Underground 2 was named "Best Action Sports Game of the Year" and Rome: Total Warwon "Best Strategy Game of the Year."
