Third-ranked Tigers win fourth straight SCAC women's golf title; Gates named Golfer of the Year for second straight year

- The third-ranked DePauw women's golf team shot a second-round 321 and won its fourth straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title with a 649.
The 321 was the best second-round score in SCAC history and the 76-stroke victory margin broke the record of 62 that DePauw set in 2003. Trinity was second with a 725 and Southwestern was third at 737.
Sarah Gates shot a 160 and earned medalist and SCAC Golfer of the Year honors for the second straight years. Lindsay Amore shot a 162 to tie for second, while Ali Murtaugh shot a 163 to tie for third.
Lisa Chambers tied for sixth with a 167 and Lauren Brummett was tied for ninth with a 170. Playing as an individual, Kristen Kriegshauser tied for third with a 163.
