Kristina Astrid Hesbol '72 Appointed HR Chief at Illinois School District

Hesbol Kristina.jpgApril 27, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Kristina Astrid (Nelson) Hesbol, a 1972 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed director of human resources for the DeKalb School District in DeKalb, Illinois. An article in the MidWeek notes, "Hesbol has been a professor in educational organization and leadership at the University of Illinois, Urbana campus since 2002, where she taught principals and superintendents. She also has been an educational consultant since 2000 with Pacific Learning, through which she worked in strategic reading instruction in Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Missouri and New York."

Diane Strand writes that Hesbol holds "a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from Loyola University. She also has a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from National-Louis University, Evanston, and a bachelor’s in elementary education and psychology, from DePauw University."
