Bondi named SCAC Player of the Year; Riggle named Coach of the Year

- DePauw junior Liz Bondi was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Scott Riggle was named the Coach of the Year in voting by the conference's coaches.
Bondi received seven first-place votes and totaled 85 points to top the 10-player all-conference team. Amrita Padda also earned all-conference honors and Alex Nelson was an honorable mention selection.
Riggle earned coach of the year honors for the second time in his five years as DePauw's head coach. He led the Tigers to the NCAA Division III Championships and a ranking of sixth in the nation. His DePauw teams have posted an 80-46 record.
Bondi also was named to the SCAC all-tournament team after winning all three singles matches at the conference championships, while Erin Andrade earned a spot at number four singles with a 3-0 record. Bondi and Jill Anderson were named to the all-tournament team at number one doubles after winning all three conference matches.
