Cath named SCAC Coach of the Year; three Tigers named all-SCAC

May 13, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw head coach Tom Cath was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and three Tigers earned spots on the all-conference team in voting by the league's coaches.

Cath directed the Tigers to a runner-up showing at the SCAC Championships, another top-10 national ranking and an appearance in the NCAA Championships. In 20 seasons with DePauw, his teams have posted a 290-142 record.

Earning all-conference honors for the Tigers were Evan Webeler, Marshall Kuresman and Jeff Zanchelli. Webeler picked up two first-place votes, while Kuresman earned one.

Kuresman also eanred SCAC all-tournament honors at number two singles by winning all three matches at the conference tournament, while Kortney Keith did the same at number four singles and Scott Sauer at number six.

The number three doubles team of Zanchelli and Keith were also named to the all-tournament team after going undefeated in three conference matches.
