Caroline Mitchell '04 Competes for Title of 'Miss Kentucky' This Weekend

June 16, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "Thirty contestants from across the state will be vying for the title of Miss Kentucky 2005 on Saturday," including 2004 DePauw University graduate Caroline Mitchell, notes the Lexington Herald-Leader. "More than $50,000 in cash scholarships will be awarded to contestants in addition to numerous prizes and in-kind scholarships to various colleges and universities." The story lists the 21-year-old Mitchell, who is now in graduate school at Vanderbilt University, as "Miss Heartland 2005."
