"He will assume his duties with the NCAA Division III Titans on July 1. Shrewsberry, a native of Indianapolis, is currently director of basketball operations for Marshall University of the NCAA DI Mid-American Conference ... Prior to his duties at Marshall, Shrewsberry was an assistant at DePauw University in Greencastle for two years, helping the Tigers go 42-12."

Shrewsberry replaces Jim Parent, who had served as coach on a part-time basis the last three seasons. "This is an exciting time at IU South Bend," said chancellor Una Mae Reck. "A full-time coach is an important step in the growth of our athletics program."
