Scott Ullem '89 Joins Banc of America Securities as Managing Director

Ullem, a 1989 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed managing director and head of midwest industrials for the Global Industries Corporate & Investment Banking group of Banc of America Securities LLC (NYSE: BAS). Ullem comes to his new position from Goldman Sachs, where he spent 14 years, most recently as a managing director in the investment banking services group.

"We're pleased to have someone of Scott's caliber on board and are eager to capitalize on his wealth of experience," says Tony Magro, managing director and head of the Global Industries banking group. "He's a welcome addition to our group and will serve us well as we continue expanding our footprint in this industry, with a focus on the industrial stronghold of the Midwest."

An announcement at Yahoo! Finance notes that "Ullem received his M.B.A. degree from Harvard University and his B.A. from DePauw University." Ullem also serves as an adjunct professor of finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
