Vernon Jordan '57 Contributes to New Book, Finding Martha's Vineyard

September 7, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "Those who contribute to the oral history include Bill Clinton's friend and confidante Vernon Jordan," notes an Asbury Park Press review of the new book, Finding Martha's Vineyard: African-Americans at Home on an Island. The book, by Jill Nelson and published by Doubleday, "combines one woman's narrative with the memories of many fascinating, articulate people," writes the newspaper's Andrea Clurfeld. Vernon Jordan is a 1957 graduate of DePauw University.
