Football Tigers Ground Hope's Flying Dutchmen, 38-12

1106041.jpgSeptember 17, 2005, Holland, Mich. - DePauw University's football team roared to a 35-0 halftime lead over host Hope College and emerged with their first victory under new head coach Tim Rogers, 38-12. DePauw's offense racked up 529 total yards to the Flying Dutchmen's 248. The win improves DePauw's record to 1-1. Hope falls to 0-2. The outcome ties the all-time series at 18-18; the two schools have met in each of the last 31 seasons.

The Tigers are back in action next Saturday in San Antonio, Texas, where they'll play perennial Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference champion Trinity University, which entered today's play ranked #11 nationally in Division III.
