Marks named SCAC Player of the Week

- Sophomore running back Jeremiah Marks was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week after his performance against Sewanee. He shared the honor with Centre running back Adam Blandford.
In the Tigers' 34-0 win at Sewanee, Marks established DePauw single-game records for rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns and total points and tied the SCAC single-game mark for rushing touchdowns.
Marks totaled 161 rushing yards on 28 carries for his fourth 100-yard rushing game in four tries this season and his eighth of his career. He also tied the school record with his fourth consecutive 100-yard game.
The Glen Ellyn, Ill., resident ranks 11th in school history with 1,427 career rushing yards and needs three rushing touchdowns to break the single-season school record of 12 rushing touchdowns established by Bart Simpson in 1973.
In four games this season, Marks ranks 33rd in Division III with 126.3 yards per game and has scored 10 rushing touchdowns. His 15.0 points per game ranks third in Division III.
DePauw, 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the SCAC, hosts Rhodes College at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 15.
