DePauw Captures 500th All-Time Football Victory, Defeating SCAC Rival Millsaps 51-14

DSC_1616.jpgOctober 22, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw collected 522 yards in total offense as the Tigers rolled to a 51-14 victory over Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Millsaps College at Blackstock Stadium this afternoon. Senior quarterback Ross Wiethoff threw for 205 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 103 more. Jason Murphy and Jeremiah Marks rushed for two touchdowns apiece, and Daniel Stauffer had one. Tyler Mallory connected on three field goals.

The victory -- the 500th in the history of the Tiger football program -- lifts DePauw to 5-1 on the season, and 3-0 in the SCAC. Millsaps falls to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the SCAC. DePauw Helmet
