DSC_4767.jpgNovember 1, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "Wabash College started with 3,300 tickets for the 112th Monon Bell Classic to be played Nov. 12 at DePauw's Blackstock Stadium. Wabash College Sports Information Director Brent Harris announced Monday 34 tickets remain at the Wabash College Bookstore," notes the Crawfordsville Journal Review. "DePauw is out of [its 4,600] tickets for the clash between the two schools separated by 30 miles." Wabash now reports that all of its alloted tickets are now accounted for. Matt Wilson's article continues, "After Wabash had the Bell for three consecutive DSC_4789.jpgseasons, DePauw grabbed the prize back with a 14-7 victory at Byron P. Hollett Little Giant Stadium last year. A Monon Bell record attendance of 11,504 people watched the Tigers even the overall series 51-51-9."

After Saturday's 14-7 win over Centre, the Tigers are 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Tigers' game at Trinity scheduled for Sept. 24 was canceled because of weather and won't be made up. Wabash is 8-0 overall and 6-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference action. A win in Saturday's home game against Denison gives the Little Giants the automatic berth to the Division III playoffs."
