Doogan named SCAC Swimmer of the Week

November 2, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Katie Doogan has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for her performance in the Tigers' meet at Washington (Mo.).

Doogan garnered two individual first-place finishes and was also a member of the first place 400-yard medley relay team. She won the 400 individual medley in 4:47.43 and the 200 backstroke in 2:17.63. She also posted a 100 back time of 1:02.89.

The Tigers, 4-1 on the season, travel to Wittenberg on Saturday.
