"Wabash is coming off a 52-0 win over Denison, giving the Little Giants the outright North Coast Athletic Conference championship for the first time since 2002. DePauw claimed a share of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference crown with a 60-21 win at Rose-Hulman."

Wilson continues, "The Tigers have already guaranteed themselves their best finish since going 8-2 in 1997. The last time DePauw finished the regular seasonDePauw Helmet with one loss came in 1996 when the Tigers capped a 9-1 campaign with a 31-13 win over Wabash."

The game, which will be televised nationally on DirecTV Channel 321, has a "can't miss" label attached to it. "The last time Wabash and DePauw enteredDSC_4838.jpg the Bell game with a combined one loss was in 1982, when the Little Giants were 9-0 and the Tigers were 8-1. Wabash won that contest 31-6. The year before, Wabash entered the final game of the regular season with an 8-0 mark, while DePauw was 8-1. The Tigers won that contest, 21-14, denying the Little Giants a playoff bid."
