Tigers fall in NCAA second round overtime contest

November 12, 2005, Granville, Ohio - The DePauw women's soccer season came to an end in the NCAA Division III second round as the Tigers lost to 19th-ranked Denison, 1-0 in one overtime. DePauw finished the season at 11-7-1, while Denison advances with a 16-3-3 record.

Denison's Anne Young scored the game-winner with just 21 seconds left in the first overtime off of a free kick from Kim Cochran.

The Big Red outshot the Tigers 17-5 and held an 8-1 advantage in corners. Brooke Shipley recorded seven saves for DePauw, while Liz Gillette had one for Denison.
