Federspiel is DePauw's fourth player to earn all-America honors as she joins Beth Walse (1999, 2000), Corinne Scott (2001) and Meredith Rinaker (2003).

In November, Federspiel was voted the SCAC Defensive Player of the Year after helping the conference champion Tigers to a 0.56 goals against average including allowing just two goals in nine SCAC games. She was named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week twice during the season and was a third team all-SCAC player in 2004.

Junior back Maureen Mohan was selected to the All-Great Lakes Region third team after earning first team all-SCAC honors this year.

The Tigers finished the season with an 11-7-1 overall record and were 8-1 in SCAC play to capture their fourth conference title in eight years of SCAC competition. DePauw also made its fifth appearance in the NCAA Championship and advanced to the second round.
