Jimmy Ibbotson.jpgJanuary 7, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - A new magazine being launched by Hunter S. Thompson's widow Anita will include contributions from "musician Jimmy Ibbotson of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and a close neighbor of the Thompsons' Owl Creek Farm," reports Colorado's Vail Daily News. Ibbotson is a 1969 graduate of DePauw University. "Titled the Woody Creeker, the magazine is scheduled to hit newsstands in February," writes John Colson. The publication, which will have a limited printing of about 1,000 copies, will focus on the Woody Creek neighborhood where Anita Thompson lives "and home to some of the Roaring Fork Valley's more eccentric residents."
