February 19, 2006

Bonnie Spindler 2.jpgFebruary 19, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - “The national housing market is cooling off, but not everyone sees this as bad news,” began a recent San Francisco KRON-TV news report. With more than a half-million homes for sale nationally, 1982 DePauw University graduate Bonnie Spindler says, “It is absolutely a buyer’s market and it’s the first buyer’s market we’ve had in nine years. Interest rates are still low and there is a plethora of inventory.”

The report profiles Spindler, who was Zephyr Real Estate Company’s “Top Producer of 2005” and has earned the title of “Victorian Specialist” for her success in buying and selling San Francisco’s late nineteenth-century homes. The story shows one of Spindler’s San Francisco billboards, which reads, “Buy, sell, repeat. Then retire.”

The news segment closes with Spindler’s advice to new real estate investors, Sold Realty Sign.gif“Pick something that you love. If you are going to buy an investment property, make sure that you love it and that you would actually live there yourself. That way you will know that other people will love it too.”
