Sally Gray Roast.jpgFebruary 27, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Sally H. Gray, retired senior judge of the Putnam County Court and economics professor at DePauw University from 1965 through 1979, "was found guilty of being an overachiever at the Roast-A-Relic fundraiser for the Putnam County Museum on Sunday," reports today's edition of the Banner-Graphic. Gray was honored last night as the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce 2005 Citizen of the Year. "Witnesses for the prosecution" at the roast included Dr. Don Coffin '69 and Jinsie Bingham '56, past-president of the Putnam County Museum, the newspaper notes. The 150 attendees were urged to "'vote early and often' with U.S. currency and find the defendant guilty." The event raised more than $4,600 for the Putnam County Museum, an organization Sally Gray serves as a volunteer.
