Chicago Tribune's David Greising '82 Wins Award for Exemplary Journalism

David Greising.jpgApril 30, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - David Greising, chief business correspondent for the Chicago Tribune and 1982 graduate of DePauw University, is a winner of a Peter Lisagor Award for Exemplary Journalism. Greising and his Tribune colleague Michael Oneal won in the business category for "Battle for the Skies: The Boeing Story." The Chicago Headline Club chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists presents the awards, which are named for Peter Lisagor, late Washington bureau chief of the Chicago Daily News.

David Greising, a former Atlanta bureau chief for Business Week magazine, is the author of I'd Like the World to Buy a Coke: The Life and Leadership of Roberto Goizueta and co-authored Brokers, Bagmen and Moles: Fraud and Corruption in the Chicago Futures Market. Greising and his wife, Cynthia Hedges Greising '82, collaborated on the children's book, Toys Everywhere!.
