Becky Relic.jpgMay 23, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - "Here's one Relic getting a fresh start," begins an item in Congress Daily on Becky Relic, a 1989 graduate of DePauw University. The newspaper reports that Relic "will take her legislative and executive branch experience to a new job, heading up the public affairs shop at Hill & Knowlton ... The DePauw University graduate comes to the firm after working at the Treasury Department as a deputy assistant secretary." Her official title at Hill & Knowlton is senior vice president for public policy.

Relic came to the Treasury Department from McDonald's Corporation, which she served as director of the restaurant group's Washington, D.C. office and oversaw all federal political, legislative, and regulatory affairs for the company. Previously, she's managed federal relations for the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, and worked for the Society of American Florists, the National Republican Congressional Committee, and for Congresswoman Nancy L. Johnson (R-Connecticut).DePauw Logo.jpg
