DePauw's Strongest-Ever Directors' Cup Showing Gets More Attention

DSC_8481.jpgJuly 6, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - "DePauw was 13th among Division III schools" across America, and was the top Indiana college or university, in this year's United States Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings, notes today's Indianapolis Star. Pat McKee contributes the information to the newspaper's "Just 1 Minute" column.

DePauw's Directors' Cup showing was also spotlighted in the June 22 edition of USA Today.  That newspaper reported, "DePauw, in Greencastle, Ind., about an hour's drive west of Indianapolis and with an enrollment around 2,400, won 10 of the 18 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships and finished second in six others." The story includes this quote from Page Cotton, director of athletics and men's soccer coach at DePauw: "The thing I'm proudest of is the way our student-athletes conduct themselves in usa today.gifcompetition."
