John Hillenburg '06 Discusses DePauw and Plans for Medical School with Indianapolis Star

"I liked the liberal arts aspect. I enjoyed the smaller class sizes," adds Hillenburg, a 2006 DePauw graduate, who is profiled in the newspaper's "Neighbors" column.

The May graduate, who majored in biochemistry and minored in philosophy, has plans to attend medical school and is studying to take the Medical College Aptitude Test this fall. In ten years, Hillenburg says, "I'd like to be a urologist or a radiologist." He notes, "I decided I enjoyed medicine when I was in high school. I enjoy science. I had an internship at DePauw in laboratory work, but I wanted to work with people more."
