15th-ranked Tigers blank Oglethorpe

- The 15th-ranked Tigers scored three goals in each half on the way to a 6-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Oglethorpe.
DePauw improved to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the SCAC, while the Stormy Petrels dropped to 4-5-1 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Mary Beth Robinson, Sarah MacGregor and Katy Phillips each scored in the opening 45 minutes with assists from Emily Petrus, Phillips and Jacki Ponder, respectively.
Katie Morse added the fourth score with an assist from Sarah Hile before Lauren DaSilveira scored the final two with the last coming on an assist from Morse.
Brooke Shipley, Adrenna Jones and Brittany Leerkamp shared the shutout with Shipley and Jones each recording a save. Ashley Money totaled seven saves for the Stormy Petrels.
DePauw outshot Oglethorpe 19-2 and held a 10-0 advantage in corners.
The Tigers host Sewanee at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
