Barbara Kingsolver '77 to Discuss 'Healthy Food, Local Farms' at Kentucky Conference

Barbara Kingsolver 2005.jpgOctober 14, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - "Barbara Kingsolver, author of The Bean Trees and The Poisonwood Bible, will be the keynote speaker at a day-long conference called 'Healthy Food, Local Farms,' on October 28 at Bellarmine [University]," reports the Courier-Journal of Louisville, Kentucky. "Also speaking will be noted Kentucky author Wendell Berry and Wes Jackson, president of the Land Institute, a nonprofit organization that promotes more sustainable farming methods," adds the newspaper.
