Tigers finish fall season with win at Rhodes

October 17, 2006, Tunica, Miss. - Sarah Gates earned medalist honors with a 155 and led DePauw to a 37 stroke win at the Rhodes Collegiate Classic.
The Tigers shot 664 for the two-round tourney including a 311 in the second round and finished ahead of Oglethorpe which shot 701. The first-place finish was DePauw fourth of the fall.
Gates shot a 77 in the first round and 78 in the second for her first medalist honors this fall. Ali Murtaugh tied for second with a 168, while Kristen Kriegshauser tied for fourth with a 171.
Erin Kielty shot a 173 and tied for sixth, while Nicole Garza was ninth with a 174.
