14th-ranked Tigers drop 1-0 decision at Southwestern

October 20, 2006, Georgetown, Texas - The 14th-ranked Tigers dropped to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 1-0 loss at Southwestern. The Pirates improved to 6-6-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the conference.

Southwestern's Anna Stewart scored the games' lone goal at 8:40 on an assist from Casey Grier on a corner kick.

DePauw outshot Southwestern 10-8, while the Pirates held a 3-1 advantage in corners.

Brooke Shipley recorded four saves for DePauw and Southwestern's Eryn Snyder also had four.

DePauw travels to San Antonio for a Sunday contest with second-ranked Trinity.
