Tigers fall to Pirates

- Host Southwestern scored twice in each half and defeated DePauw 4-0 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
Southwestern improved to 8-6-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the conference, while DePauw dropped to 8-6 overall and 3-2 in the SCAC.
Darryn Lewis and Brian Kasper each scored in the first half with Lauro Davalos and Ben Hoffman adding second-half scores.
The Pirates outshot the Tigers 14-12 and held a 4-2 advantage in corners. John Fenley recorded four saves for the Tigers, while Ryan Tasin totaled five for the Pirates.
DePauw travels to San Antonio on Sunday for a contest with top-ranked Trinity.
