Women's Basketball Team Ranked in Nation's Top 5 in Two Preseason Polls

November 8, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University's women's basketball team is ranked #5 in the nation in the preseason Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division III poll, notes an item in the Times-Tribune of Scranton, Pennsylvania. The D3hoops.com preseason poll has the Tigers at #3, with two first place votes. The University of Scranton tops both surveys.
DePauw finished the 2005-06 season with a 29-2 record before 
falling in the NCAA quarterfinals. The 29 wins established a school record as did the 28 consecutive wins.
