Former DePauw Assistant Named Interim Head Football Coach at Central Michigan

December 4, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Jeff Quinn, a former assistant football coach at DePauw University, was today named interim head football coach at Central Michigan University. The announcement comes "one day after Brian Kelly accepted the head coaching job at Cincinnati," notes the Web site of Sports Illustrated. "Quinn has been associate head coach and offensive line coach for the Chippewas the past three seasons and took on the duties of offensive coordinator this year... He began his coaching career as an assistant football and wrestling coach at DePauw from 1984 to 1986," the article states.
