Hertel leads USA defense in 28-7 Aztec Bowl win

hertelaction.jpgDecember 17, 2006, Aguascalientes, Mexico - DePauw senior defensive end Dustin Hertel spearheaded a USA defensive effort that allowed just 150 yards in a 28-7 Aztec Bowl win over Mexico.

Hertel paced the USA team with nine total tackles including two solos. He also led the team with three tackles for 17 yards in losses including two sacks for 17 yards. Hertel also forced a fumble in the victory.

Former DePauw head coach Nick Mourouzis also served as an assistant coach for the USA for the second straight year.
