Scot Harper '78 Named President & CEO of Novartis Clinical Operations

Scot Harper.jpgJanuary 19, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Scot L. Harper, a 1978 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Novartis Clinical Operations. Dr. Harper previously served as vice president of U.S. clinical operations for Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

A Rector Scholar and zoology major at DePauw, "Harper has worked 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including a stint as senior director of U.S. clinical operations and U.S. medical director of oncology for Eli Lilly and Co.," reports today's Indianapolis Star. "He also was a faculty member at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine."
