Winning Streaks Grow for Tiger Basketball Teams

January 27, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "The DePauw women's basketball team is ranked 10th in NCAA Division III," notes the Indianapolis Star's Jeff Rabjohns. Last night in Memphis, Tennessee, the Tigers improved to 17-2 overall and 7-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 82-54 win at Rhodes. Liz Bondi led DePauw with 16 points. The win was the Tigers' fifth straight and 46th in the last 50 games.
The men's team is now 16-3 overall and 7-1 in the SCAC after besting Rhodes, 78-65. Austin Brown paced the Tigers with 21, while Mike Moore added 18 and a game-high five assists. It was the team's sixth consecutive triumph.
