February 11, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "The Posse Foundation identifies, recruits and trains student leaders from public high schools to form multicultural teams called posses," reports the Capital of Annapolis, Maryland. "Colleges involved include Bryn Mawr, Bucknell, DePauw, Dickinson, Franklin & Marshall, Oberlin and Vanderbilt." The story details a local student who is a recipient of a scholarship and adds, "Posse Scholarships were first established in 1991, but were made available to students in this region just two years ago."
