February 14, 2007
February 14, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "Spending the time to be creative or tailoring a gift to what your loved one will want will probably be the most appreciated" Valentine's Day gift, says Angie Hicks, founder of Angie's List. The entrepreneur and 1995 graduate of DePauw University tells the Times-Dispatch of Richmond, Virginia, "Hiring a house-cleaning or errand service may be just the right gift for those who are crunched for time."
The story by Julie Young, headlined "Practical(ly) perfect Valentine's gifts," notes, "A recent poll by Angie's List, an online service where consumers exchange information on goods and services, found that half of men and women don't care how much a gift costs as long as it's meaningful."
