Senior is Finalist for National Undergraduate Research Award

Rupak Shivakoti.jpgApril 13, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Rupak Shivakoti, a DePauw University senior from Nepal, is a finalist for a 2007 David S. Bruce Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award. A total of seventeen undergraduate students from across America are finalists for the Bruce Awards, which are presented by the American Physiological Society (APS) and recognize excellence in undergraduate research. Up to four winners will be selected at the APS Experimental Biology meeting in Washington, D.C., later this month.

Shivakoti and the other finalists will participate be invited to present their research posters and will be interviewed by the award committee, which will determine the winners. All finalists will receive award certificates, while the winners will receive $500 travel awards.DePauw Logo White.jpg
