SmartMoney May 2007 Stewart.jpgApril 26, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "For our 15th-anniversary issue, we've taken what we've learned over the past decade and a half to create another 10-year portfolio," writes James B. Stewart in the May issue of SmartMoney. Stewart, a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter and author who is a 1973 graduate of DePauw University, appears on the cover of the magazine, which he serves as editor-at-large. His column identifies "The Ten Stocks for the Next Ten Years."

"To identify our top-10 stocks this time, we also demanded a demonstrable history of sales growth," Stewart notes. "Then, as in past years, we sorted through the remaining stocks one by james b stewart.jpgone, looking for common themes that were likely to play out over the next decade. In the end, we identified four themes: clean water, health, wireless technology and global growth."
