Transylvania blanks Westminster in NCAA first-round match

May 4, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Transylvania improved to 16-4 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship second round following a 9-0 first-round win over Westminster (Mo.) at the DePauw Indoor Tennis and Track Center.

The Pioneers advance to the second round where they face host and eighth-ranked DePauw. Westminster finished its season at 12-8.

Transylvania won all three doubles matches and then clinched the match win with victories at third and fourth singles.
