Tigers in third after first of four NCAA rounds

May 8, 2007, Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - DePauw, ranked fourth in the latest coaches' poll and fifth by Golfstat, are in third place after the first of four rounds of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort.

DePauw completed the first round with a 336, while Methodist leads with a 303 and Gustavus Adolphus is second at 332.

Kristen Kriegshauser shot a first-round 76 and is in a three-way tie for second, while Sarah Gates is tied for 14th with an 81.

Nikki Garza is tied for 40th after shooting an 87 followed by Ali Murtaugh in a tie for 67th with a 92 and Erin Kielty in a tie for 80th at 95. Methodist's Charlotte Williams leads after a one-over-par 74.
