Bennett improves steeplechase time at North Central

May 11, 2007, Naperville, Ill. - DePauw's Chad Bennett finished fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:10.38 at the Keeler Invitational and improved upon his national qualifying time.

Also running for the Tigers were Drew Wyant who finished the 5000 meters in 15:14.54 and Tony Gemma who ran the 800 meters in 1:58.46.

Earlier in the week at the University of Indianapolis Twilight Meet, Michael Horskins finished third in the shot put at 14.15 meters. Michael Griffy finished eighth in the hammer at 42.98 meters.
