June 17, 2007
June 17, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "For the next three years, the Wabash-DePauw football game will be televised on HDNet, officials from both schools announced," reports today's Journal and Courier of Lafayette, Indiana. "The first Monon Bell Classic under the new contract will take place Nov. 10 in Greencastle," adds Ken Thompson.
The story quotes Mark Cuban, president and co-founder of HDNet, as saying, "The Monon Bell is truly special, and I'm thrilled that we're able to continue our partnership with DePauw and Wabash."
Heading into the 2007 contest -- the 114th in the all-time series -- Wabash holds a slim 53-51-9 advantage.
