Tucker Waugh '93 Rejoins Football Coaching Staff at Army

Tucker Waugh 1993 a.jpgJuly 17, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Tucker Waugh, a 1993 graduate of DePauw University, is now the running backs coach at Army. Waugh returns to West Point as an assistant coach after spending the past two seasons as the wide receivers coach at Stanford. He previously served a five-year stint as the wide receivers coach at Army (2000-04), adding the duties of recruiting coordinator during his final two seasons.

Before his first assistant job at Army, Waugh coached for five seasons at Illinois State (1995-99) overseeing outside linebackers (1995), running backs (1996) and wide receivers (1997-99). 

An English composition and physical education double major at DePauw, Waugh played quarterback for the Tigers. He began his DePauw Helmetcoaching career at Otterbein College in 1993 coaching the quarterbacks. He returned to his alma mater in 1994 as a wide receivers coach. He also has a coaching fellowship with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League on his résumé.
