George Rehnquist '64 Appointed to Indiana Commission for Higher Education

Rehnquist, a 1964 graduate of DePauw University, was today appointed by Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels to serve on the state's Commission for Higher Education. The Commission is a fourteen-member public body which serves as a coordinating agency for Indiana’s state-supported system of higher education. Rehnquist will serve a four-year term.

Rehnquist "is past vice chairman of the national board of the YMCA of the USA and currently serves as president of the Gibson County Tourism and Visitors Bureau," notes the announcement. "Rehnquist earned his undergraduate degree from DePauw University and his law degree from Indiana University – Bloomington."
